Death Valley Scenic Drive

🚗 드라이브 7개 정차 지점 무료

🚗7 mapped stops

The hottest, driest, and lowest point in North America — yet Death Valley is stunningly beautiful. Multi-colored badlands, salt flats that stretch to the horizon, and sand dunes set against snow-capped peaks create a landscape of extremes.

이 투어의 정차 지점 (7)

  1. 1
Furnace Creek Visitor Center Begin at the heart of Death Valley — 190 feet below sea level. The thermometer here recorded 134 degrees Fahrenheit on July 10, 1913, the hottest temperature ever reliably measured on Earth.
  2. 2
Zabriskie Point Eroded badlands of golden mudstone ripple toward the Panamint Range. The sunrise here paints the formations in warm amber — Antonioni named his 1970 film after this viewpoint.
  3. 3
Twenty Mule Team Canyon A one-way drive through the yellow mudstone hills where borax was hauled by 20-mule teams in the 1880s. Each wagon train carried 36 tons across 165 miles of desert.
  4. 4
Dante's View At 5,475 feet, looking straight down to Badwater Basin at minus 282 feet — one of the greatest elevation contrasts visible in a single glance in North America.
  5. 5
Badwater Basin The lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. The salt flats extend for miles — a cracked white plain that was once a lake. Telescope Peak rises 11,049 feet directly above.
  6. 6
Devil's Golf Course A vast field of jagged salt crystals pushed up from underground. The name comes from the idea that only the devil could play golf on this tortured surface.
  7. 7
Artist's Drive A one-way road winds through hills painted in greens, pinks, purples, and yellows. The colors come from oxidized metals — iron, manganese, and mica — deposited millions of years ago.
