Zion Canyon is a cathedral carved in Navajo Sandstone — 2,000-foot walls of red and cream rock framing the Virgin River. The scenic drive winds from the visitor center to the Temple of Sinawava, passing the Court of the Patriarchs, the Great White Throne, and the Big Bend.
