What kind of itinerary can I import?
Anything from a trip planning tool or travel website. Road trip plans, walking tour lists, city exploration guides — if it has named stops and locations, we can turn it into an audio tour.
What's the Equalizer refund?
Your $15 Equalizer refund is issued when your tour meets three conditions: (1) all stops are real, visitable locations verified by GPS, (2) narration passes our automated fact-check with no fabricated claims, and (3) the route contains no safety issues like walking segments on highways or through restricted areas. Most tours qualify automatically. If yours doesn't, we'll tell you exactly what to fix and let you resubmit. Important: Before you pay, our system checks your itinerary for catalog eligibility. If it won't qualify, you'll know upfront and can revise it before paying — or choose to create a personal tour that won't be in the public catalog.
How do royalties work?
You start at 10% of every ad-free purchase of your tour and 20% of merchant sponsorship revenue on your route. As your tour gains traction, rates increase:
- 0-24 completions: 10% purchase / 20% merchant
- 25+ completions: 15% purchase / 20% merchant
- 100+ completions: 20% purchase / 20% merchant
- 250+ completions: 25% purchase / 20% merchant
Example: A tour with 50 completions/month, where 20% buy ad-free ($3.99) and the route has 2 merchant sponsors ($1.50 USD/completion each), earns roughly $4/month in purchase royalties + $3/month in merchant royalties = $7/month. Over 3 years, that's $252 from a $29.99 investment.

"Gay Manchester" is a completely different tour from "Manchester's Music Scene" or "Industrial Revolution Manchester" — different stops, different stories, different audience.
